Are you training for a marathon and feeling down these days?
Read this article about 60-year-old marathoner Mark Stodghill from Duluth, Minnesota.
In the past thirty-one years, Mr. Stodghill has finished 219 races that are at least 26.2 miles long.
And his plan to finish a marathon in Montana in August will let him reach a goal of running a marathon in every state.
His marathon completion-time began in the 3:00’s and now is in the 4:00’s — excellent for a 60-year-old.
After completing his marathon-in-each-state goal, he just might set a goal of completing 365 marathons — a year’s worth of marathons.
Inspiring!
And I have to wonder whether he might up that to a leap year’s worth of marathons once he reaches that goal.
