Again, please do not text while in motion!

As I wrote in my previous blog post, I urge you again to not text while in motion, no matter whether that is driving, running, or walking.

Please take ten minutes to find and watch a Public Service Announcement (PSA) video from the State of Utah about a specific double-fatality accident resulting from texting while driving. (Warning: You may need a few tissues to wipe the tears away.)

I have yet to find a similar PSA video for runners and walkers, and I hope that I never do.

But I urge you to imagine how such a video might look … and then to take SpryFeet.com’s “Alert and Alive” pledge for cellphone safety while running or walking on the road or trail.
