Walking taco
“What is a walking taco?”, you ask?
It is the name — coined by Scott Burggraf writing in Examiner.com — of a meal meant to be consumed during casual walking.
It gets its name from the fact that the starting point for the recipe is a small bag of Fritos-brand corn chips.
- Crunch the chips slightly before opening the bag.
- Open the bag.
- Add taco ingredients to the top of the chips inside the bag.
- Mix everything slightly.
Voila! You have a self-contained meal that can be carried in one hand and consumed with a fork in the other hand.
