Vibram FiveFingers Shoes
Would you run in Vibram FiveFingers footwear?
Some people swear by them.
Others question whether people who have always worn traditional shoes can handle the foot strike (on the ball, not the heel) promoted by these shoes.
When I first saw them, I thought that they could come in handy while climbing up and down wet rocks.
After all, many people wear Keen or Teva shoes while crossing wet terrain.
Perhaps the extra sense of feel supposedly provided by FiveFingers would help even more.
What do you think? Could you imagine running — or even walking — a marathon in this footwear? Do you have a pair? How far have you traveled in one journey with them? Would you recommend them to others? For what purpose?
